Each. Single. Year.
I have been using a specific beauty product for years and whenever I use it, I guarantee, without failure, that I will get compliments. Is this beauty product the best mascara? No it is not. Is it a foundation that works wonders on dry skin? No, I do not wear foundation. Could it be a red lipstick that makes my lips look whiter? No. What is this magic product? It is the Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops. For me, it is the best fake tan on the market.
Isle of Paradise Self-tanning Drops, 19.95 £ | It looks fantastic
The USP of the Isle of Paradise are the rather clever formulas for color correction. Peach is their lightest range, which works to brighten dull skin. The green collection – my personal favorite – gives a moderate tan and tones the redness and evens out the skin tone. The violet range neutralizes the orange, yellow and ash tones on the skin and gives a deeper color.
These tanning drops have changed my life. I’m not a regular tanner – I occasionally have the best spray tan in London before weddings and I will use the best instant tan on my feet when my hem exposes more than I’m ready – but I like a face wash. All I need is four drops in my morning moisturizer and I’m ready. I work it on the face and under the neck and on my décolleté. Taking care to put it on my hairline with a fluffy bronzer brush. This is very important, nothing is a greater gift than an obvious hairline.
Throughout the day I become more and more glowing and glowing. Then the compliments start to appear. It tends to have to do with how healthy I look, something that as a naturally pale person – an English rose if you will – I usually do not have very often. It leaves no streaks, never looks orange and costs under 20 £. It is literally a win, win situation.
Somehow I do not want to share it with you, as it was my little secret for a while (‘oh yes, I was missing, thank you, I flew to the South of France for two nights. It was wonderful.’) But here. let’s go. Go and try it and sit back and enjoy the compliments as they fly in.
